NewGlobe is growing and developing fast. The organization has been on a journey from proof-of-concept community school programs, to participating in national multi-partner public-private partnerships, acting as technical service delivery partners to statewide programs at scale, and ultimately supporting national government transformation programs.

NewGlobe supports two programs in Lagos, Africa’s leading subnational economy and Nigeria’s most populous state.
The ambitious state-wide government program ‘EKOEXCEL’ was launched in 2019, providing high-quality education to students across the state.
A midline study showed that in 7 weeks, students in EKOEXCEL public schools advanced in numeracy twice as fast and in literacy three times as fast as their education service counterparts.
The UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) initially contracted NewGlobe as part of the Developing Effective Private Education Nigeria (DEEPEN) program, subsequently releasing a study highlighting the success of Bridge Nigeria.
NewGlobe began supporting the Kwara State Government in transforming public primary education in 2022. The public-private partnership facilitates large-scale employment of innovative technology, high-quality learning materials, and research-based teacher training programs across the Kwara state to boost learning outcomes.
Edo’s Basic Education Transformation Program (EdoBEST) launched in 2018 with NewGlobe as a technical partner.
Results have shown that students receive 54% and 71% more schooling in English and Maths respectively. It is the only subnational to be included in the World Bank’s accelerator program.
The Liberian Education Advancement Program (LEAP), formerly named Partnership Schools for Liberia (PSL), was launched in 2016. NewGlobe-supported school, Bridge Liberia, is the largest partner within this multi-partner program.
A three-year randomized control trial found that Bridge Liberia delivered 2.5 years of additional learning within the three-year period.
A ground-breaking study conducted by a Nobel prize winning economist into NewGlobe supported schools methodologies showed ‘among the largest learning gains ever measured in international education’.
Students have sat the national Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exams since 2015 and consistently outperform the national average.
The Rwanda Education Quality Improvement Program (RwandaEQUIP) is the Government of Rwanda’s nationwide program launched in 2021 and is supported by NewGlobe. Rwanda’s Vision 2050 outlines an ambitious government commitment to reach modern living standards for all and the Government of Rwanda is committed to promoting ICT-supported education to make their education system ‘globally competitive’.
NewGlobe in New Delhi has shared services teams, including Marketing, Academics, Talent Acquisition, Policy & Advocacy, and New Opportunities.
The Marketing team develops and executes strategic marketing initiatives, while the Academics team focuses on effective instructional design as well as high-quality educational content.
The Talent Acquisition team ensures NewGlobe India attracts and retains top talent, while the Policy and Advocacy team liases with stakeholders that support the organization’s mission. They all work closely with offices around the globe to optimize operations across the organization.
NewGlobe began working in one of India’s eastmost states, Manipur, in 2022. STAR Education is the flagship program of the Indian State Government of Manipur, ensuring strong learning outcomes for children and better growth for the state. STAR Education is designed to help transform Government schools into schools of excellence, paving the way for the prosperity of Manipur.
NewGlobe operates shared services teams in Hyderabad, with a focus on transforming education in under-resourced communities.
The teams include Technology (Software Development, IT Operations, etc.), Academics (Instructional Design, Production), People, Talent Acquisition, and Finance. Through their collaboration, NewGlobe effectively delivers high-quality education to remote and marginalized populations across India.
NewGlobe’s London support office houses a variety of back office teams, who are focussed on maintaining and improving the technical support NewGlobe provides.
In Amsterdam, the core Technology team works to ensure NewGlobe are leveraging effective digital solutions to transform public education in low-infrastructure environments. The technology department oversees multifarious functions, from business intelligence to software development.
The Academics, Print and Production and Measurement and Evaluation support teams are based in Boston.
