Teacher Guides

Teacher guides provide a structured pedagogical framework in classrooms, with comprehensive and continually optimized instruction to transform learning outcomes.

Overview

As the World Bank explains: “At the core of the learning crisis, there is an instructional crisis.”   With extensive pedagogy and teacher support deficiencies, low-income territories require new evidence-aligned strategies to improve and refine instructional quality. Teacher guides have been shown to generate significant learning gains, designed to raise the floor, without lowering the ceiling. By helping to simplify lessons and guide teachers where they may struggle with content, or how to teach it, scripted instruction enhances lesson delivery.
