Approach

In-person teacher training is first held at the very start of every new education program, supported by NewGobe.
Intensive multi-day in person training sessions provide Government teachers with the tools, technology, and techniques to improve student learning outcomes. These in-person trainings continue to take place at key points throughout the program to ensure that all teachers are equipped with classroom management techniques, technological capabilities, and pedagogical knowledge to deliver effective student learning.
The multi-day training sessions are based on the science of learning and leverage pedagogical techniques developed by NewGlobe over a decade. These techniques are drawn from a range of sources, including insights that have been generated by identifying the top decile of teachers in NewGlobe programs, based on their ability to generate outsized student learning outcomes. Teaching practices and techniques of top teachers and educators are regularly studied and rigorously tested to develop training models that can be deployed at a system level. NewGlobe incorporates its scientific learnings into a practical training and coaching model, specifically designed to be usable and practical in public education systems.
